Welcome To Our Video Archives

We've been generating programs for Spencer Cable Access since 2003 and had two, popular series: Bloomin' With The Bemis and Thyme In The Kitchen. Our programs generally run from 30 to 60 minutes. (We don't end programs on 30 minute boundaries. What our talent generates, and our editor fine tunes, is what you get.)

Early on, we produced DVD's and distributed them to about 20 cable access stations in Central Massachusetts via postal mail. Now, we use the Internet for covenience, cost savings, and to reach a wider audience. To accommodate different viewer needs, we release two video sizes. The small, thumbnail like shows fit the display of smart phones or players like iPods. We use Vimeo or Blip TV for this and have recently beed added to iTunes Podcasts via our Blip TV feed.

Cable access stations requires DVD quality, standard definition MPEG files. These are much larger and we use sites like Peg Media and the Princeton Server Group's Telvue (which they make available to Mass Access.) You will need password access to these sites. Contact us if you need help with this or if you can't use this resource.

Although our archive contains some video files, it's mostly a directory with pointers to the Internet locations mentioned where you can pull content.
